The control incorporates a variable temperature control system, automatic steam switch off and two levels of protection against dry switch on. The variable temperature control system is operated via a spindle on the side of the control. The integrated steam thermostat is operated by ducting steam down through the plastic body mouldings, or steam pipe through the base of the kettle, to the steam bi-metal.
Installation:
  • The control is fixed to the base of the appliance directly onto the heating element by means of screws, rivets or by clinching. It is then electrically connected to the heating element by either solid or flexible wires.
  • The switch off temperature is adjusted via a rotary knob on the appliance centreline.
  • The appliance bottom cover may be attached directly to the control.
  • Further information, application drawings and advice are available from any STRIX Sales Office.
