| Functional Description: |
STRIX U1830 controls are designed for mounting directly
onto the underside of conventional concealed heating elements and interface with
the
STRIX P72 360º rotation cordless connector. All variants feature
a 2 pole dry switch on non cycling protection system which utilises 2 bimetal sensors
for optimum dry protection performance. An optional "automatic off" feature
(LOSO) is available which causes the switch actuator to move
to the off position when the appliance is removed from its power base, and prevents
the appliance from being switched on again until it is placed back on its power
base.
|
| Installation: |
-
The control is fixed
to the base of the appliance directly onto the heater element plate by means of
screws , rivets or by clinching. Conventional concealed heating elements are electrically
connected to the control by either solid or flexible wires.
-
The cosmetic cover may
be attached directly to the control.
- Further information, application drawings and
advice are available from any STRIX Sales Office
