The Strix R72 integrated kettle control is the world’s most popular and best value multi-function control for use with immersed heaters.

The R72 combines the functions of steam detection and mechanical switch off with 2 additional levels of safety protection offering protection against damage caused by accidental dry switch on, or the appliance boiling until it is dry. It features 2 levels of dry protection, one in each pole. The first level is a self re-setting device and the second a one-shot fail-safe thermal fuse. The R72 features pins designed to mate with an IEC connector cord for detachable cord configuration, additionally it can be used in cordless configuration when combined with the Strix P69 cordless system. The T72 features male tabs designed to mate with faston connectors allowing a low cost, fixed cord configuration.
