The Strix R36 control is a simple to install kettle control, used with immersed type heaters and specifically designed to be used in conjunction with the Strix R48 remote steam switch. The R36 offers protection against damage caused by accidental dry switch on, or the appliance boiling until it is dry. It features 2 levels of protection, one in each pole. The first level is a self re-setting device and the second a one-shot fail-safe thermal fuse. The R36 features pins designed to mate with an IEC connector cord for detachable cord configuration, additionally it can be used in cordless configuration when combined with the Strix P69 cordless system. The T36 features male tabs designed to mate with faston connectors allowing a low cost, fixed cord configuration.
