An innovative electronic control system, offering accurate temperature setting which allows water to be heated to chosen temperatures for fine teas, coffee, hot chocolate, cold remedies and other beverages. There is no requirement for steam management reducing manufacturing costs and providing considerable design freedom. The control is supplied with no user interface (MMI) - this is provided by the OEM.

EK03.1: appliance functions are defined by the switches on the MMI (Boil only; one switch, boil and heat to single temp; two switches etc.), user feedback is provided by two coloured LEDs on the MMI. Keep warm at the selected temperature is available for up to 30mins but this feature must be specified with LOR.

EK03.2: functions as EK03.1 but customer can specify up to eight button functions and eight independent LED (15mA ea) outputs. Custom software is required to define button and LED functions but this provides more flexibility in the design.
