STRIX P84 Cordless Contact Housing
Features/Benefits:
  • Robust design
  • Developed for harsh environments
Functional Description:
The Strix P84 is mounted on the power base or main body of the appliance. Three standard Strix pins are installed in the removeable part of the appliance and will interface directly with the cordless contact housing. All three high quality leaf springs in the contact housing terminate in male tab (4.8 x 0.5mm) at it's base. The contact housing has been specifically designed to prevent ingress of water, however and open design ensures creepage and clearance paths cannot be bridged.
Installation:
Both the pins and contact housing are designed to be held positively between the upper and lower parts of the removeable and main (powered) parts of the appliance respectively. Prior to assembly of the contact housing care must be taken to ensure the connecting leads are not under strain or trapped by any part of the appliance.
