Concealed "under-floor" heaters enable manufacturers to produce kettles

appliances provide a cost effective solution but do not provide
the added functionality of a Cordless appliance.
|
|||
| Cordless | Top | ||
|
Cordless appliances offer a number of advantages over
Corded ones. Power cords can be kept

| Illumination | Top | ||
|
Utilising the STRIX U1880 series of controls appliances can be developed for water heating
applications which allow the Illumination of the water with high power neons of various colours.
The effect can be enhanced by using two or three different neons of different coulours to indicate

| Keep Warm Function | Top | ||
|
The Keep Warm Function utilises the
Two Power Concealed Heating System to enable
the user to keep the temperature of the liquid in the appliance at
just below boiling point. For coffee brewing this ensures that the
coffee is maintained at the optimum temperature whilst in water boiling
applications water can be re-boiled in seconds. For more information
on the Keep Warm function please see the Applications
page, or contact STRIX.

| Lift Off Reset (LOR) | Top | ||
|
Fitted to the STRIX U17 series of controls LOR
provides non-cycling dry boil protection. After a dry boil situation
the appliance must be removed and replaced on it's cordless base before
the appliance can be switched back on.
|
|||
| Lift Off Switch Off (LOSO) | Top | ||
|
Controls fitted with a LOSO provide the added safety of switching
the appliance off as soon as it is removed from it's cordless base. This
ensures that if an empty appliance is placed back on it's base a potential
boil dry situation is avoided.

|||
| Trip-Free Design | Top | ||
|
The STRIX U12 and
STRIX U18
series of controls incorporate a Trip-Free design. This ensures that if the
