STRIX, the Isle of Man based manufacturer of control systems for water boiling appliances, has just past a landmark with delivery of its FIVE HUNDRED MILLIONTH control to the world kettle market.

A STRIX control is used by some twenty percent of the world's population and is used by consumers around the world over a billion times every day.

STRIX has won four Queen's Awards since it sold its first control in 1981. Edwin Davies OBE, the Executive Group Chairman, said that all STRIX staff both past and present should feel proud to have contributed to the achievement of this significant milestone in the development of the business.
