How to identify if your kettle is fitted with a genuine STRIX control:

1. See the word STRIX indented into the 3 metal connector pins (see below). Or -
2. If the kettle is a cordless then:-
  • Make sure it is empty.
  • Turn it upside down and look up inside the rear cover.
  • You will see a black control with 3 metal connector pins.
  • The word STRIX is indented on the pins and also printed on the lower surface of the control along with other letters and numbers.
